Stacey+Devon’s next door neighbor so graciously let us use their old barns and tall grasses. And we of course took advantaged and photographed a bit around their property too! Nothing sweeter than capturing an E-session at a couples first home together.

This mornings dose of love is sure to bring happiness to your day! Meet Kara+Chad.
They braved one of these past cold, dreary April mornings to photograph their engagement portraits. We just dreamed about their warm June wedding while we were out and about in downtown Greenville.

I always love this time of year as the greenery springs forth into new vibrant life after the dead of winter. The colors burst forth in shades of pinks, whites and every color imaginable. Kara+Chad brought a wave of freshness in their laughter and I couldn’t be more thankful that they chose us to capture their big day!

A beautiful fall-like morning with these two was the perfect start to a busy day. It’s just easy to be around them with all their giggles, sly smiles and great conversation.
Chatting wedding details {Burgundy+Gold} with Colleen has us ever more excited for their big day! She’s finishing school+planning a wedding and making it look easy so far. And Alex is in the process of moving and starting a new job… we’re wishing him all the best of course.

I think they needed to be handed the cutest couple award!! We had a blast working with Jenni+Chris in downtown Sidney for their E-Sess… even ventured to a few new urban locations (+ in love with the results!). Before we even started photographing, I knew they were going to be easy and care-free to work with. Their personalities just mesh together into utter cuteness. Thanks for a fantastic session you two!!

How I LOVE spring weather + engagement sessions. Kelly+Cory are perfect for one another. The way he makes her giggle, and the fact that she can wear any size heel created and still have to step on her tippee-toes to kiss him is adorable.
For their e-session, we spent some time in the Short North, at their cute and humble abode and the Scioto Audobon Park. They filled us in on their jobs, the wedding plans and a bit about their relationship. {They grew up in the same small town, but between a small age difference and life’s plans, they did not date+fall in love until a few years ago.} We are already getting excited about their special day… Kelly is an interior designer and I cannot wait to see the wedding details she puts together!

I have to share a few more into Holly+Rob’s E-session! This adorable downtown Greenville, OH shoot is just the sweetest thing. We started the morning off at the park, and then headed downtown to finish the session. What an adorable couple, the perfect location, and the cutest outfits! Enjoy!!

Kelsey & Sean – Columbus, Ohio Engagement Photography

A little romance happening in the city! On a chilly afternoon a few weeks back, we met Kelsey and Sean in Downtown Columbus for their engagement photography session. Yes, we photograph engagements throughout the year and each one is special in its own way. Kelsey and Sean’s in unique to us because they planned a theme photo-shoot. A 1920’s theme – it couldn’t have been any sweeter!

Heading into a themed shoot requires a little extra prep work, but definitely pays off in the end. We discussed with Kelsey different location options and settled for Columbus. We were inspired by the Art Deco era, and Columbus seemed to offer quite a few different photographic possibilities. We made (or tried to make) our way to the following locations; the streets of downtown columbus, The Judicial Center, The Ohio Theater, The Scioto Mile and The Topiary Garden.

When we arrived at the Judicial Center, we were told that we couldn’t photograph with the building. At first we were a little bummed, but quickly forget! We found some amazingly unique old buildings just by walking the streets of downtown Columbus. The city is full of fun architecture to photograph with!

If we would have to pick a favorite location from the entire session, we’d probably pick the Topiary Garden! Kelsey & Sean seemed to have so much fun ‘photographing’ with our old Brownie Camera. I think the years of theater came in handy… Kelsey is such a natural in front of the camera. Multiple times throughout the session we told them to just stand there and do something cute, and they did!

We photographed Kelsey a few years ago when she graduated from Versailles High School. It was a pleasure to see her again, catch up and meet her man. Sean grew up in a military family and has traveled quite a bit. It was wonderful getting to know him as well as how the two meet. If you can’t tell already, we’re really looking forward to their big day!
