It’s not every day that a senior bring us a Hawaiian shirt! I was told it was kind of a school tradition to wear a Hawaiian shirt to school on Fridays @ Versailles, but it must just really be Jarrod’s thing. He’s been wearing them for years.
High fives all around for school spirit, vibes + the craziness that is senior year!
High school moments are fleeting for these seniors-to-be and I love seeing them embrace their last year.

Rustic wood, farmhouse vibes, lace dresses + cold beer… what more do you need for a perfect barn wedding??
If you have yet to hear about The Buckeye Barn in Piqua, OH and are looking for a rustic location to host your wedding, (well goodness) look no further! I was so excited when Stacey started discussing this new-location-to-be back in January. Let me tell you, it meet all expectations. The staff was amazing to work with, the place is decked to the studs with all kinds of details and you can even host your ceremony on site if you’d like. There is even a bridal suite + dude cave!!! (SERIOUSLY?!?)
We’ve done a couple of weddings with Genells Flowers now and their work has seemed to be exquisite each time! Stacey left no room for error with choosing all the delicate greenery and white flowers for her wedding. Lovely, lovely, lovely!
And let’s not forget to mention that amazing bridal dress, as well as the girls dresses. All different and yet timeless + seamless working together in perfect harmony.

It’s always a joy to see past clients! Although the girls have grown quite a bit since I’ve photographed the Kramer family last, they are still as beautiful as ever. Thankfully the weather cooperated (after we’d rescheduled a couple of times already) and we were able to sneak this session in before another small rainfall.

They braved one of these past cold, dreary April mornings to photograph their engagement portraits. We just dreamed about their warm June wedding while we were out and about in downtown Greenville.
I always love this time of year as the greenery springs forth into new vibrant life after the dead of winter. The colors burst forth in shades of pinks, whites and every color imaginable. Kara+Chad brought a wave of freshness in their laughter and I couldn’t be more thankful that they chose us to capture their big day!

When all the details finally come together, a bride (+ groom) tend to be very, very happy.
Well in this case, I mean literally every detail…. the bride+groom bought and fixed up their own wedding venue!  Umm… how cool is that? Let’s be honest, every bride dreams of a unique wedding and this bride basically got to create her own (with the help of her fantastic groom and family)!

Every book is designed custom . . . from a blank canvas. We don’t want any two books to be the same, because no two weddings are! But I have to admit, we cannot take all the credit for our beautiful albums. The album company we use has   f a n t a s t i c   choices for leather and linen cover options, cool things like debossing (which is shown above), imprinting, and etching and just when I thought they couldn’t get any more amazing, they just released some new fabric swatches!
You spent months+months planning for your epic wedding day. But the vision of your wedding doesn’t end when your day ends. We’re able to help you bring that vision to life through a masterpiece album that is uniquely yours. That is the passion we have for our craft.
Holly+Rob chose to keep their album cover simple and classic. (Exactly like their wedding day!) They choose a gray onxy leather with their last name in a blind debossing.
Umm… HOW COOL IS THAT!!!??!!
And side note . . . all of our albums come stored in these beautiful gray linen boxes.
. . . But wait, I forgot to mention. The epic wedding albums didn’t end there for this fabulous couple! They gifted each of their parents a beautiful miniature album as well. (Complete with a custom cover for each of their parents, see below!) Because let’s be honest, our parents are a huge part in our big day and this simple memento is the perfect thank-you gift.
When we meet with our brides, we probably sound a little dorky when we start talking about our albums but it’s only because we have such passion+pride for them.

The 2016 fall season did not disappoint! There are a few leaves still changing colors and holding onto the branches before winter begins, but we lucked out yet once again on a wonderful weekend to photograph our fall family special.
It was one of the biggest fall weekends we’ve done yet to date! 10 families braved the cold (+ windy) weather to hang out with us and we couldn’t be more thankful. We had a BLAST! Â Sharing a few of our favorite from each of these beautiful families.
